6 ‘Must Eat’ Places In Providence, Rhode Island

Providence is a college town with a youthful vibe. It isn’t surprising that local Johnson & Wales graduates and hip chefs have realized they can remain in Providence and avoid nearby cities’ pressure cooker kitchens. Creative restaurants are popping up and revitalizing former vacant buildings. It has become the next destination for the ‘food trotter.’

Providence is about 3 1/2 hours from New York, NY and an hour from Boston, MA. These are my recommendations:
