Courier-Journal: Letters to the Editor: Hearing for all

The Louisville Slugger Museum’s slogan is “hear the crack of the bat” which apparently, is only for some visitors. People who are hard of hearing must read captions.

The museum will not provide an induction loop that allows a person who is hard of hearing to hear the sound directly in their ear by switching their hearing aid to the T-setting allowing their hearing aid to regulate the volume and bring the sound directly in their ear.

Perhaps the museum will attend the hearing conference in Louisville and realize that providing excellent customer service is important for all consumers.
